ManMat - Postroj Sled je klasický X-back vhodný pro většinu psích sportů, kdy se pes pohybuje výhradně před vámi (individuální disciplíny i spřežení). Psi v postroji Sled zvládají dobře všechny chody - cval, klus i silovou práci v kroku, postroj ale není vhodný na tah břemen (weight pulling). Sled byl původně navržený pro severská plemena, ale padne širokému spektru psů s větším/chlupatějším krkem. Postroj je určen do silového tahu - jeho střih (úhlením popruhů) vyhovuje psům, kteří potřebují dát v plném tahu hlavu dolů a vyklenout záda.
V ČR ručně vyráběný postroj je lehký, z téměř nesmrtelného polypropylenového popruhu podšitého síťovinou, která je měkká, lehká, neodírá srst psa, nesákne vodu, rychle schne a nenamrzá. Na bocích i na zádech jsou na postroji reflexní obdélníky, u reflexní varianty je navíc vetkaná reflexní nit v celém popruhu.
Velikosti
Vybrat správný typ a velikost dlouhého postroje je podobně těžké, jako vybrat padnoucí dětské boty nebo podprsenku - bez zkoušení se to blíží losování Sportky. Postroj vždy posuzujeme v plném tahu psa. Správně padnoucí postroj má poměrně malý obvod krku, v plném tahu nezasahuje za žebra do měkkého břicha a končí u kořene ocasu, nepřetáčí se, pes v něm pracuje rovně a nechrčí. Pokud postroj není v tahu, většinou vypadá krátký, nakrčený a neforemný. Výsledná velikost velmi záleží i na tahu psa - u extrémních tahounů volíme o jednu až dvě velikosti menší než u psů s jemnějším stylem práce.
