MushGO history
MushGO history starts much sooner than the record in the commercial register. Hela Levíčková with her husband Martin have been doing mushing since 1995. And so it is logical that their daughter Bára had started learning the ropes even before she learned how to walk. It isn't easy to equip a kennel of 2-4 teams, so in 2007 already their dogs were wearing first collars sewn by Hela, and, under pressure of the increasing demand (mostly due to Bára, but don't tell anyone), in 2010 the first bungee leashes and lots and lots of boots were produced. From there it's just a step to the first trade stand, with which Hela visits musher and dogtrekking events and offers harnesses and leashes with shock absorbers mostly.
In 2015, Bára joins the business, together we put together the logo, the FB page and an e-shop, which is soon expanded with Back on Track and RockEmpire brands. One year later it is possible to pay by credit card and it is necessary to buy the first portable unit container as a storage place – the living room is not sufficient any more. In 2017, the company is setting the registration of sales, buys an Iveco car (the one that brings to you the whole trade stand and that you know form the events) and sets off for the first MushGO Tour. In autumn the MushGO Ltd. is founded. And of course there are more and more jackets, toys and treats. In 2018, we spend most of the weekends with you, 2 cars and 4 events per weekend – we can do that too! Moreover the e-shop undergoes a complete redesign. The very next year the company moves from the Levíček's house to new premises on Kaštanová street, and a new logo and the first full-time employee come with it as well. The year 2020 is marked by all kinds of restrictions and so we focus more on the e-shop, start professional product photography and the shooting of first videos. From the middle of 2020 the MushGO team is growing significantly.
What does MushGO look like today? The range of products consists of 50 brands and there are 777 items in about 10 000 variants (sizes, colors...) in the e-shop. And in the showroom, besides Bára and Hela, you can find from six to eight smiling faces that unpack, pack, call, write, organize, sew... and of course there are eight to twelve more four-footed helpers that test products, cuddle and walk all those overworked bipeds.
